Making A Purchase All items are subject to availablity. Customers will be notified if any item cannot be despatched straight away and given the choice to wait, or cancel the order for the unavailable item. All prices quoted were correct at the time of publishing.

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet. The Gold Padlock symbol will appear at the bottom of your screen as the standard sign of a secure transaction process when you are entering your credit/debit card details.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling We aim to have some of the lowest delivery charges. We do not normally charge you for the work of packaging, just for postage for the weight of the items plus their packaging, which will be added at the website Checkout.
For the majority of UK destinations we only charge you Royal Mail rates, or our specially negotiated low Carrier rates. (Carrier deliveries exclude Northern Ireland. For Northern Ireland items above the normal Royal Mail Second Class and First Class weights, Royal Mail Parcel rates and delivery times apply.)

up to 0.75Kg you can select Second Class, First Class or Carrier (Should default to Second Class)

over 0.75Kg up to 1.25Kg you can select First Class or Carrier (Should default to First Class)

over 1.25Kg up to 10Kg we charge a flat Carrier rate of £5 (Excludes Northern Ireland)

10Kg to 20Kg we charge a flat Carrier rate of £8 (Excludes Northern Ireland)

over 20Kg we charge £8 and then add £0.50 for each additional 1Kg or part thereof over 20Kg (Excludes Northern Ireland)

For Northern Ireland ONLY over 1.25Kg up to 20Kg Royal Mail Parcel rates apply.

For First and Second Class deliveries Royal Mail delivery targets apply. For Northern Ireland ONLY Royal Mail delivery targets apply for all deliveries.

For most of the UK delivery can be expected within 5 working days (Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays) for Carrier deliveries (Excludes Northern Ireland).

We can also arrange delivery to most of Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. These are sent via the Royal Mail Airmail service and should normally arrive within 5 days (Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays). Maximum weight for international parcels is 2kg. Royal Mail delivery targets apply.

Delivery Schedule We will attempt to post all orders within 24 hours and for most of the UK delivery can be expected within 5 working days (Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays). For First and Second Class deliveries Royal Mail delivery targets apply.

Our Carrier normally delivers orders within 3 working days, but please allow 5 working days (Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays and Northern Ireland).

For Northern Ireland ONLY Royal Mail Parcel delivery will be used for heavier items and delivery can be expected in 3 to 6 days.

Areas within the UK where delivery may not be as timely as shown above, are listed in the Shipping and Handling section of these Terms and Conditions.

International orders are generally received in under 14 days, depending on the postage service selected.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is included in the price shown for most items. For car seats 5% VAT is included in the price shown. Some childrens' clothes are exempt from VAT and therefore the price shown for these items does not include VAT.

Orders are VAT free when despatched to areas of the world outside the European Union. The Checkout process will allow the customer to make the necessary chioces.

Privacy Policy Sprogsonline do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy It is not our policy to receive returned goods without an acceptable cause for return. Please notify Sprogs or Sprogsonline immediately if you want to return an item and we will decide if the reason is acceptable. Any goods returned in perfect saleable condition, in their original box/case will be refunded in full, but ALL postage charges must be paid by the customer. Any goods damaged on arrival must be reported to the person delivering the item and noted on the delivery slip. Sprogs must be contacted immediately. We will then chase the issue with Royal Mail or our Carrier.

Remittance Terms Payment through the website will be in advance of delivery of the goods ordered, as with any other online website. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.
